Julie Hitchcock, B.A. Child Development, M.Ed. Special Education, is an educator, a mother, and an early intervention specialist serving infants and toddlers. Julie has an extensive background in early childhood education spanning over 20 years. Julie has worked as a special day class teacher for preschool-aged children, a behavioral therapist for children with special needs, and a parent educator in the community. Julie also served as the director and an early childhood teacher at a growing, Waldorf-inspired school here on the central coast of California. In addition to her love for children and families, Julie is a practitioner of Yoga philosophy, studying and practicing the art of meditation to support and inform her life. Julie teaches meditation to parents and educators in school and community settings.
