Danielle received her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Child Development from California Polytechnic University, San Luis Obispo in 2013.  She focused her collegiate studies on social welfare and the family system, completing an internship working with youth and children within the foster care system.  Upon completion of her degree, she worked as a behavioral counselor, serving youth and families affected by trauma.  In the context of this position, Danielle had the pleasure of working in both home and school-based programs.  In addition, through her work as a behavioral counselor, she discovered her love for developing creative interventions to help foster positive child development.  She is currently enrolled in a graduate studies program, working toward a Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.  In her free time, Danielle enjoys community volunteering and cooking delicious meals in her kitchen.
