Pam is a Certified Child Life Specialist with Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Child Development. Her studies originated in a teaching credential program, and she then transitioned to a Master’s program in Child Development.  She enjoyed working as a preschool teacher throughout her undergraduate years.  Following her graduate training, she went on to work as a certified child life specialist at UCLA Medical Center in the Pediatrics Department.  Since relocating to the central coast of California, she has worked as a certified child life specialist at Sierra Vista Regional Medical Center for over two decades, serving infants and children up through age 18 in the NICU, PICU, and out-patient care unit.  Pam has also served as an early intervention specialist with GSTAR for over 10 years.

Pam serves on the Board of the California Association of Child Life Professionals (CACLP), and she is a member of The Child Life Council.  She is also a member of the National Education for Young Children (NAEYC) and the Infant Development Association (IDA).

Pam is currently a Stephen Minister with training to serve adult Care Receivers.  She enjoys ballet, reading, classical music, cooking classes, and the arts.  During the time in which she and her husband raised their two children, she was involved as a “room mother” and served as a parent volunteer for her school district for the California Association for the Gifted (CAG).
