Laura earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development from Cal Polytechnic University. She initially worked as an Autism Behavioral Therapist in a classroom setting for the San Luis Obispo County Office of Education for 3 1/2 years. She then moved to the San Francisco Bay area to pursue a teaching credential in Early Childhood Special Education, after which she served as a Special Day Class teacher for children with intensive developmental needs for 7 years. She relocated back to the central coast of California, bringing with her a wealth of knowledge and experience to the team of GSTAR professionals. In her free time, she enjoys making gourmet meals at home, attending yoga classes, listening to live music all around the central coast, and hiking at Montana De Oro with her husband. Laura’s family includes her “music man” husband, adult stepson, and two fur-babies.
