Cindy graduated from the University of Arizona with a Master’s of Science degree in Speech & Hearing Sciences in 1983.  Initially, she worked as a speech-language pathologist serving children and adults in a hospital setting, as well as in a school district setting in Tucson, Arizona.  Upon moving to Oregon, she worked for the Early Childhood Program of Multnomah County in Portland, Oregon.  Following another move, she worked in early intervention in Boise, Idaho through the Department of Health and Welfare. She presently serves as a speech-language pathologist for GSTAR, serving the northern portion of San Luis Obispo county.  She lives with her husband Chuck and her dogs, cats, horses and goats.  Her hobbies include horseback-riding, water-skiing and outdoor photography.
